LOS ANGELES, CALIF., July 31, 2019 - Forty6Eleven, a leading Los Angeles-based product placement firm, specializing in home improvement, home decor and building material products, has secured its client MAPEI Corporation to be featured in 2019 Southern Living’s Idea House on Crane Island within Amelia Island, Florida.

The dream team of designers and architects were hired to design a “new old” 7,000 square-foot Southern beach house. With interior designer, Heather Chadduck, Southern Living’s former Style Director, now of Heather Chadduck Interiors at the helm and lead architects Jim Strickland and Clay Rokicki of Historical Concepts, each weaved their own personal Lowcountry styles with the architecture and character from Amelia Island throughout the grand home.

The Idea House showcases the latest design ideas and products and is featured in the August issue of Southern Living. MAPEI’s contribution for 1,306 square-feet of tile throughout the home included Ker 111 thinset; Mapelastic CI - a professional crack-isolation membrane; and a multitude of colors of Keracolor S grout and Keracaulk S. MAPEI also contributed Ultrabond ECO® 995, a moisture-control, sound-reduction wood flooring adhesive; Novoplan Easy, a self-leveling underlayment; and Primer for the more than 4,100 square-feet of wood flooring.
